Sump advice

Ok, here it is. I have a 125 gallon rr with two wet dry filters under. I want to remove the wet dry's as they are only allowing for extra water volume right now, I have removed all sponges and filters from them. What i want to do is install two sumps under and plumb them together. The reason for two is that the most water volume i can get in one tank and still slide it in is 25 gallons. I don't feel like this is enough to make it worth my while. If I install two sumps i would put the fuge in one of them but then the other sump will be wasted space with the exception of a skimmer. Have any of you installed a two part sump and if so i would love to see pics. The maximum dimensions i can fit under the stand at one time is 28 long X 12.5 wide X 16 tall. I could probably increase height to 18 or 20.

i am building a 265 and am using a 58g RR as a fuge and a 50g oceanic reefsump II for the sump and skimmer section here is a pic. The return on the sump is the big side since i dont need to use it as a fuge and it is also my fraging station. The only change i have made is the light fixture above the sump is now a 2x36w PC fixture and they are holding my fish right now since my 70 started leaking. The 58 is raised on a 2x4 frame and the sump is drilled in the side by oceanic.

the 75 is just strictly a fuge that is about 60gallons full. the 120 is the sump where i run carbon, phosban and all that other stuff.

Does the water run through your fuge or is it just connected? It looks like the corner section you made would be the overflow section? If not, where does the water come into the sump? Thanks Donnie.

the sump is fed off of one of my drains. here is the waterflow

75g right side + water from drain 3 + water goes through bulkead into 120, water enters bubble trap in 120, water goes through prop section, through rock section, into skimmer/return section

Very good, thanks for the explanation. I think that i could make something similar just a much smaller scale  .
By the way, your thread is coming along nicely.
