So I want to put moon lights on my tank and I want to use LED's but what do yall think I should use? I am looking for something I wont have to replave every other month because there cheapo. I want to avoid haveing 4 or 6 little lights all over the under side of my canopy so what im thinking is a heat sink thats the length of the tank with maybe 6 or 8 moon lights and one control for them. What should I do?

Thanks
Brian

You could DIY a kit from rapidled with a heatsink like StevesLEDs sells. Since they are moonlights and won't be too bright you might could get away without having a fan. Or get some of those circular heatsinks for the individual LEDs and mount them on an aluminum tube.

I have the small TrueLumen Moonlights (3 small LED). 1 is enough to give my 115 a really cool effect. I went with the white, but they also sell in Blue I believe.

+1 on TrueLumen. I have the blues I leave on at nite. Only $7.99 at DNA when they have them in stock. I LOVE the affect and how it looks!
