Hello. I appreciate the help Ive received in the past in this forum so much! I hope you can help tonight.
Performed a water change yesterday with RO because i had lost a long tentacle anemone in there a couple weeks ago and the water smells slightly. Ive been doing weekly water changes and watching the parameters.
This morning i noticed the water looked cloudy but figured it was the lights were still out or maybe microbubbles from the skimmer. I adjusted the filter that stops the micro bubbles and left it for the day. Tonight, with loghts on its really cloudy - like a fog in there. Please offer suggestions as to what might cause it.
Calcium is high - it took 25 drops in my API kit to turn blue!
Dkh = 8 (drops in my API kit. I understand that normal is 7-9 drops)
Ph is lower than usual at 7.6. Normally stays around 8.3
Nitrates, Phosphates, Ammonia = 0
Temp is higher than normal tonight too at 81. Need to replace that heater.
Corals dont look too bad yet or even my picky RBTA, although the leading indicator kenya trees look pissed.
Tonight I changed 10 gallons of saltwater plus replaced another 5 gal with fresh water to lower calcium.
