Substrate suggestions

Hello,
I'm getting ready to upgrade from a 75 gallon reef to a 140 gallon tank. Currently, I'm using a fine "sugar" sand. It looks great but has a tendency to drift in certain areas. I'd like to go with something a little larger grained but I have a Yellow Watchman Goby, a sand sifting star,2 Yellow Coris wrasses, and a Mandarin. I know Reef Flakes are very popular, but are only available online.(AFAIK) I'd like to get something that would be available locally. It does not have to be "live" as I have sand from my current tank to seed it with. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sandless bottom. Just feed the right foods and your fish will be fine. I have a sand sifting star in my sandless for about a year now. Also 3 other brittle stars.

Sent from inside the shark tank!

We like the sandy bottom. It's all personal preference but we don't like the bare bottom look. No offense. Not a fan of black sand either. That's why we have chocolate and vanilla. And for some of us rebels, we have the Haagen daaz chocolate peanut butter. My favorite. :) how did I turn this into ice cream?
