Stupid question: Reef Safe?

I was thinking of using some of this stuff to glue some live rock together into some interesting shapes.

If I glue the rock together outside of the tank and let it cure for a day before putting the rock back, will I kill everything I put in there later?

If that won't work, what should I buy to putty some live rock together?

My objective is to make some interesting caves, arches, and pillars. Not too many, just a few choice pieces before I start adding things like sand and more rock.

Aquamend is reef safe, and can be used in tank. It may cause your skimmer to go nuts, though, so just keep an eye on it.

Gluing rocks won't be a problem as the others have mentioned, but you will want to consider the hobby ones for corals. Some of these puddies cure at different temps. They all heat up to an extent, but some get hotter than others so their use on corals is not advisable, especially on smaller frags.

Aquamend I believe is fine for that purpose though I have only used it securing discs and plugs to rock and not the actual corals themselves.

It is. You can get it at HD with the superglue and other glues. I've used it quite a bit. said:
Cheaper than ordering it online.. And it's essentially the same stuff as aquamend. I never had luck with frags sticking to it, although I've heard of people using superglue for more efficiency.

Billy Mays sells it on TV for an incredible price of Nineteen Ninety-Nine!! But wait! Order Now..!
