Stocking List [29g BC]

I've done a lot of reading and more reading and then even more reading and I think I got a good idea, but I need to run it past you guys to feel confident about it.

I had some fish on my list like Catalina Goby, Royal Gramma, etc. but after reading several posts in multiple forums I decided those weren't for me either. I try to learn from others mistakes.

Here is what I've gathered. If I go the clown route and want some soft corals then a good stocking list might consist of:

Clown
Scarlet Pinstripe Wrasse
Green Clown Goby
Lawnmower Blenny

in addition I love shrimp. Heck, I've been eating them my whole life so why shouldn't I!!! I'd also like to add:

Banded Coral Shrimp

And that's it. What do you guys suggest as far as a timeframe and order to add these?

[Also, if I decide I don't want a Clown are there set-ups with other fish that may be more agressive, but safe for a 29g with soft corals? and that wont eat my Hermits and Snails but will also swim around and not just hide 24/7?]

I want to get my fish list down so I can work backwards from that so I know what to do next in order to achieve the end result I'm looking for.

Thanks!!!!

Basslets, grammas, gobies, firefish, cardinalfish, some blennies would do great. I'd perhaps steer clear of clowns for some other diversity. Lawnmower blennies have a tendency to mow down (eehehe puns!) all the algae and then starve to death out of refusal for other food.

I'd go for a basslet, a firefish, a shrimp goby, pistol shrimp (maybe not if you want your crabs/snails)...

if you get a clown go with a less agressive one like a Perc or false Perc
on the blenny, go with a bi-color, they are smaller, still eat algea and are more likely to eat other food (at least mine does)

My 29g list
pair of seahorses (will be adding more in the future)
pair of firefish
bi-color blenny
rics, zoas, xenia
halequin star
emerald crab
trying differenct macro algea's

may add a couple pepermint shrimp
