stocking a 65G tank

Hi,
I posted a question a while back about stocking a 65G tank and had a method in mind of doing (but not sure it is the best.) So I wanted to see what more experienced people could suggest to help me out. By the way I do have a clown fish, sixline wrasse, and a cleaner shrimp from my other tank in it. I put them in two weeks after the cycle. It has been two weeks since and I haven't seen any amonia or nitrites. The nitrates are around 5 to 10PPM. The PH is sitting around 8.2, Alkalinity at 2.8. Also, I am wondering if I could get another clown fish of the same type to put with my existing clown fish or will that cause issues. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide me.

Tony

P.S.
The tank has been setup for 6 weeks.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but i hold off, has the tank been cycling a month and then you added the fish or has it been six weeks with the fish just added recently ? I would wait another 2 weeks, it will be much better for you in the long run, I wish i would have waited a little while longer, did you use seeded sand and cured live rock ? i would really wait until you get an absolute reading of 0 or really really close, then stock slowly.

On the clownfish issue, i have 3 different species of clownfish in the same tank some are huge, others are tiny, and dont have any problems.
Somebody with some more knowledge might be able to fill you in better. but thats my 2 cents

I used 40 pounds of sand that could be seeded and 40 pounds of live sand. I actually bought really nice cured rocks that had some awesome purple growth. The rocks had been cured for 3 months and actually was in a coral tank and coral was starting to grow on it. I had an ammonia spike at week two and then it dropped as fast as it came up. I followed Bob Fenners advice and put a little food in there to get the cycle started in the meantime the fish I owned was in a quarantine tank. So once I did not see any ammonia for a couple weeks and after 3 weeks in the quarantine thank I decided it was time to put them in.

Even though ammonia is gone... how about nitrite... Step 2 in that cycle...
if you're seeing any nitrate, then the cycle is nearing the end, but is not complete if you see any nitrite...
