What is your preference store(s) that carry the best selection of SPS in the Dallas/Fort Worth area? I am planning a road trip tomorrow with a friend visiting from Chicago.

Thanks in advance.

Neptunes cove has a lot of SPS as well. I have never made it out to Fish2morow though so I cannot say Neptunes is better, I just know he has a lot of different SPS's to choose from.

Fish2morrow is probably the best, followed by Neptunes cove, and the rest often carry sps but you never know what they'll have.

The best variety of nice colorful SPS is at Fish2Morrow. Stop at Frank's Tank's while you are out there, he probably has a few jewel's available.

Cheers,

+1 for Fish2morrow, If I was a visiting hobbist I would also like to visit a store like Mid-Cities, it's like a box of chocolates [smilie=surprised.gif]

A little belated, but I went to Fish2Morow this weekend and walked away with a 1" garf bonsai frag, 3" efflo acro frag, chilli pepper 2" frag, and a 2" disc of sympodium. All doing well and extending polyps.

I ran by Fish 2morrow today for the first time, definitely a nice store and lots of SPS. They didn't have what I was looking for, but a great selection all in all. Some great display tanks and I liked how they actually had coral/fish tags with all of the info you should consider when buying (tank size requirements, flow, etc.). When you get into a place like that you sometimes forget what each thing needs, so its nice to see a refresher without having to ask.

Fish2morrow is also my preferred store....you should sign up for their email discounts. Neptunes is now too far, but I like that store as well. Mid Cities is okay. Bottom of my lists are Dallas North and True Percula.....sorry...

I just walked out of fish gallery with ORA ice tort, pearlberry, purple plasma, red planet and blue voodoo as well as some unnamed stuff from fish heads. Aaron helped me out, he was knowledgable and gave me a great package deal. I wiped out the inventory but he said he can order just about anything. Definatley worth a look if your in the area.

I went to fish2morrow today and got an awesome 4 branched 4" turquoise stag with baby blue tips.... Amazing! (I think its called a lovelli stag?? ... or something with an L)

They have super good selection!

Ive given up on FG. Every time I go in there, service sucks, their corals look like crap and when I do get someone to get me some stuff, its like he couldn't care less about taking time to be careful pulling corals out.

Fish Gallery is out, DNA had a rough spell with horrible looking corals, hopefully F2M will be better about corals. From my first visit they seem legit.
