Sps problems - Confused and not sure what to do...

[I bought a tank that was already setup a couple of weeks ago and it has some sps corals. One of them broke during the move and I was wondering if someone can identify it for me? Plus, I need to know if the frag that broke off is dead? and what do I need to do to keep SPS alive in my tank. (Temp, Kalkwasser, Flow, and etc.) THanks for the help

Here are some picks: When I first got the coral home it had a bunch of green "grass" looking stuff poking out of the wholes and now they seem to stay retracted all the time and the coral is turning a purplish color....

[It looks dead in the picture. Give it the smell test! :) If you take an acropora out of the tank it should stink (have a not o pleasant odor). If it is dead it wont really smell at all.]

[Oh yeah your other question :glare: . SPS are considered to be tough to keep because they are not as tolerant of swings in water condition like softies and LPS. The goal is to get all your water parameters ideal and keep them there with very little swing.
Ca 425-450
pH 8.2
KH 7-11
temp 78-83 degrees
ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate all at 0.]
