Something weird coming out of zoas mouth

Okay I'm thinking my zoas are doing good most of the pox has cleared up... but now I'm seeing these long dark things coming out of their mouths. I saw it first on one of my palys. But now looking at one of my zoa colonies I saw this long dark string underneath a polyp and then got a magnifier to look closer and several have the same thing but it's coming from their mouth. What are they doing??? I've heard of them expelling their zooxanthellae... could this be it? Is this bad? :cry:

If its brown and stringy its probably poop.. I had some PPE's open their mouths and it looked like their innards were coming out, they pulled them back in but since then they haven't looked too hot and I might lose them. Just keep an eye out but I would say it was poop first.

Thank DaveJ... I've been concerned about them since they got zoa pox and I've treated them so seeing this it was like... "Now what??" I'm watching them closely... along with all params.
