Something odd with mixing water....

So I go to do a water change in my 29 and fill two 5 gallon buckets with RO?DI on Friday. Fill the water and then drop the salt in.... drop the mixing pump in. One bucket mixes overnight nice and clear.. then I do the second.. I wake up today and the first bucket is all cloudy. So I drop the pump back into it and its still cloudy.

Red Sea Pro salt.... very strange.
 
Silly question, but....did you clean the container before putting in water? Marc and I were discussing that today....I'm still having ammonia problems, and trying to figure out why.

Go ahead and do it again. See if you can make it happen twice. :lol:
 
I would dump it and try again. I think serk had this problem a while back. I am not saying it is your problem, but his was a faulty heater that put copper in the water.

LOL thanks.... guess i'll have to do that. Nope not a heater problem as I don't mix with heaters, I mix room temp and then heat it right before I put it in.
