Sohal issue

My new Sohal had what appeared t be a small cut 3 day's ago. It appeared to be healing then last night when I fed there is now an small open wound there, today the lights just came on and it's much worse. No pic's yet but it looks terrible like it's being eaten away. Not sure if it's a secondary infection or something else.....

After 5 hours the infection(??) had spread and the fish was on it's side. I placed it in a treatment tank(used tank water) but it died rather quickly. I could almost see this spreading on the fish as the flesh was white in the "infected" area. In 24hrs this went from a "healing" cut to almost very infected looking open wound to death. :cry: :cry:
