snowflake eel not eating!?

I have a snowflake eel tht I got from a friend last week And the eel has yet to eat. I have offered it silversides( Thts what my friend fed him) and every time I get near him with the food he just goes back in his cave and doesn't even attempt at eating it. I even tried to feed him in the middle of the night. He is very active and seems healthy my tank readings are zero across the board. Idk what to do any help would be great!!!

I wouldn't get too worried about it just yet. Eels can go quite a long time between meals. He's likely just upset by the move.

Make sure he's hot good places to hide and he'll come around in a another week or so.

Eels when moved can sometimes fast for weeks. Its is not a big deal.

okay thanks guys, hes got a great cave system in my rocks, he moved sand around to build his caves its actually really cool.
