Snails

[Those snails I got from the raffle are in the tank now. They keep climbing up to the water lvl and then crawl just above where part of the shell is exposed to air. 3 are stuck down by the sand on the glass and are eating my diatoms.

This normal??]
 
[If they are astrea i would say they are normal and i am pretty sure that is what they are. One of the greatest things about them is there all around algea eating ability and they go up at the top where the mag float wont'. :beer:]
 
[I always have to or three at the top water line. I always thought that something was wrong, but they have been doing that for over a year.]
