Snails in the fuge?

[I have a bunch of baby snails in mine....many people have snails in their fuge for the very reason you posted. Some people put cucumbers in their fuge to help with the cleaning, but I stay away from cucumbers seeing how they can give off killer toxins if they become stressed :bomb:]

[I did not actually put any in my fuge, but when I was doing some cleaning the other day I noticed that I had quite a few down there.]
 
[Yes, I sure do. I try to set up eggcrate to keep them from wandering into the next compartment (return section) so they don't get near the pump.]
 
[Yes I have two big monsters living in mine. At first they were put in the display area, and they started to attack others( trochus snails, nassarius snails, star fish , even my cucumber none the less) So, it was fuge time fro them.; There color is like the hermit, but the huge claws told me differently.]
 
[Thanks guys - I've got keystones there already, hitchhikers. But I'm planning on putting a bunch in the sump - I was thinking about putting foam there but the flow to the return is really slow - mysis shrimp are swimming around the ledge.]
