Small tank build, please help, newbie to hobby.

hello, i am khoa. call me kevin
well i look around, can't really find a tank that fit my request.
so i decide to build one with paper first b4 i actually get down with the glass.
so here it is
i have no idea how much water it can hold. so help on it well be great.

dimension are L=30in W=6in = H=8in.

so here it is please dont laugh. well you can.

if your power gos off i think the water will back siphon to the level of your retrns, be sure your sump will hold that extra water

( 30 x (6 + 2) x 8 )/231 = 8.3 gallons if it was filled to the rim!

Curious to see how you're progressing. They've mentioned overflowing into your refugium, but you didn't mention you were going to use one. Do keep us updated when you've got the chance.

And btw, the front section would only hold about 6 gallons, so that is indeed a tiny tank.
