Small fish going through Water Returns??

I am new to the hobby and have been learning lots over the past couple of months. I am looking forward to attending my first meeting next week. Anyway, I bought a couple of small False Percula clowns from Andy that have been doing great except for one of them has gone through my left overflow twice, never sucked into the sump just difficult to remove. I feel like I have taken so much advice on the board, I am excited to have something give back that hopefully will help others. Here is what I did. I took one of those coarse sponges and cut a couple of strips to put between my durso stand and the teeth on the overflow box. I lowered them down just enough to allow the water to pass trough but it's not tall enough for Nemo to go make a break through anymore. Hope others can use this.

Make sure to clean out that padding every few days, to avoid it trapping waste and breaking down.

Keeping fish in the main tank can be a problem, but some fish learn to avoid that area after a couple of times.
