Slime algae growing on birdsnest

I have had 2 little spots where this algae has been growing on a birdsnest coral and I can't seem to get it to stop. I pick it off and have increased the flow on it but it just keeps growing back in the same spot. This is a purple polyp birdsnest and it's lost quite a bit of color the past few months with some light changes, but otherwise it's healthy and growing fine.

I have that happen to my birdsnest in the back on the tank b/c there's not much flow there. I just use a turkey baster to blow away all the stuff collecting on it once in a while.
 
Yeah that's pretty much what I've been doing with the turkey baster too. There still isn't enough flow in my tank. Hopefully when I get my vortech this won't be a problem anymore. [smilie=wink.gif]
