I am looking for a skimmer for my 90g RR

I was looking at the Tunze Doc 9010 and the Euro Reef Rs 135

I will be keepin sps and lps and lots of fish..
Anyone one have a comments about either of these skimmers.. or any recomendations.

Are they really quiet?
 
I don't have any experience with either of those models, but you may want to look at the Octopus/Pacific Coast Imports skimmers as well as the DAS skimmers. Both companies make recirc models at a very reasonable price.

That said, both Tunze and ER make a quality product.
 
I don't know anything about those you listed. But I do have to say we have been very happy with our ASM G-3. We have it on our 100 gal tank and we have to empty the cup once a week. I know lots of members have the ASM and seem to be happy. HTH
 
ya ive heard that their awesome skimmers but are they quiet

the main reason i want to get the tunze is cause its supposedly really quiet

but skimming wise im sure the asm is bout the same if ntot better

just wanna know if its quiet
 
Go with the euro reef it ROCKS pulls massive skim out. I have a cs-8-2 and i love it.

VERY VERY quiet and one of the best on the market.

the rs stands for retail and the cs stands for commercial grade.

You can find the CS online for a really good price. CS is a better grade plastic also.

www.premiumaquatics.com has a great price on euro-reef I called them and got an even better price then online :shock:
 
so in your opnion would u think that the Euro Reef Rs 135 would be just as quiet as the tunze.?

are euro reefs also a put together plug and play type skimmer that i dont have to mess with a lot?
