skimmer??

what is best afforadable skimmer for 90gallon im setting up
- in sump style. Do i have to go with aqua c ev 120 or can i use something a little less pricey like coralife supper skimmer???
 
Thats a good skimmer...I ran a 150 on a 150 for a while. Skimmer's is something I would not skimp on. Im not too familiar with Coralife skimmer. I gota ER now and LOVE it. Other options to look at would be the economy ER's (forgot the model), as well as maybe a ASM skimmer (ER knock off) whos good too.
 
This is not the thing to skimp on! One of the most important pieces of the entire system.

I would reccommend a ASM G3 personally for best price for the performance.
 
At first I wanted an Aqua C - I did a lot of research on wetwebmedia.com and had previously used their Remora skimmer. I decided on the Turboflotor based on several recommendations - the final nod was from Bob Fenner.

I did make a minor modification to make it a single-pass skimmer - which helped a lot.
