Skimmer question?

My tank has finished cycling so I hooked up my skimmer yesterday and added two new fish(clowns). The fish seem to be doing Ok but have not eaten yet. I fed them last night and this morning and they show no interest at all to the food. Is this normal since they are in a new enviroment and do they need some adjusting? Also since I hooked up the skimmer I notice alot of white specks circulating in the tank. I assume they are from the skimmer since they were never there before. Is this also normal? Thanks for the help! :D

What kind of food are you feeding? They should go for enriched brine shrimp. At least it will get them eating.
The bubbles will probably die down once it's gotten a nice slime coat on the skimmer.

tb, please update your signature line with your first name so we know how to address you. Thanks. :)

Don't overfeed just trying to get them to eat. The clownfish may be a bit flustered by the new environment, and will probably start eating once they get more comfortable.

The white dots are more than likely microbubbles. There are ways to resolve this if they don't go away after everthing has been running for 14 days.

Thanks Marc for the info. The clowns started eating last night and seem to be fitting in nicely. I'll keep an eye on those bubbles.
