Skimmer Question

I have a skimmer that is leaking near the intake. The gasket is good.. and there are no cracks. It just doesn't seem to be tightening enough to seal. Can I use some silicon around it to seal it. And if so.. what kind should I use?

How does it connect? Is this a Uniseal connection, or PVC? Is this in sump? If so, it can drip and won't affect anything.

Sorry. It's a CPR bak-pak. It is a PVC
Pipe that is threaded thru a hole in the plexiglas. It drips out the front of the plexiglas onto the floor. I just need a good way to seal it.

Thank you for your help.

Agreed. A thin coating of PVC cement applied (with a q-tip perhaps) will fix it. Let it dry for a few hours, then reinstall.
