Skimmer Pole, need your input

Morning Everyone,

I am setting up the 300 gallon again and actually going to use my 210 as my sump/fuge in this setup. I have two skimmers currently and looking to go down to one since I am consolidating the tanks. Please help me with the following:

Bubble King 250 Internal
My Reef Creations Orca Pro I External

If you could choose just one which would it be and why? I obviously love my Bubble King but I prefer external skimmers now that I own one. Look forward to hearing from everyone!
 
I've never seen the MRC in action, but I have seen the orca pump on a 5' tall ATM skimmer and that PUMP is a BEAST!! I could only imagine what it does to a skimmer about 2' tall lol.

Bubble king ..... I own a bk mini one of the best skimmers made. Easy to get parts and customer service is awesome when I bought a used bk Jeremy at pa answered all my emails to get skimmer parts as original owner made some diy changes to the skimmer

Might double check but I don't see orca pumps being made anymore so might see where you can get seals and if needed a new pump.

Also might do a google search for mrc owner arrested

If you like the results of the mrc keep the mrc and sell the bk. bk are great skimmers so you should be able to sell the skimmer on r2r or rc if it's in good condition and a reasonable price

Thats the thing, I never really think that I got the MRC tuned right to really see what it does. I should just sell both an order a bubble king external skimmer [smilie=wink.gif]
