Skimmer for 40 Gallon

What skimmer would someone recommend for a tank around 40 gallons, max 50 gallons?

I've been real pleased with my EuroReef RS100 on my 100 gallon.

1) What skimmer for in sump?

2) What skimmer to hang on back?

I want a skimmer that gives bang for buck, not looking at spending LOTS on a smaller tank size skimmer.
 
1) I used a euro RS-80, still do on my 100 gallon. I am partial towards EuroReef cause it works well and easy to maintain. Kind of pricey though.

2) CPR Bak Pak 2 worked well on my 46 gallon. I never had much of a bioload on it, but seemed to work okay. I prefer sumps / refugiums though.
 
i like my octopus extreme 250 they do make a HOB version that uses the sicce pump

i have owned a euroreef (9 out of 10) i think the octopus extreme is (8.5 out of 10)

You could even go octopus extreme 160 it is rated for up to 160 gallons if you want to do an insump


Deltec mce600 or 800 are prob the best hob skimmers made right now
 
I LOVE my Remora honestly.

I get at least a Half a cup of DARK skimmate every half week. I have been very pleased with it :)
