Skimmer and Filtration question

After much searching i have yet to find exactly what i am looking for so here it goes. I have a newly relocated salt tank. I received by way of charity and cousin most of the contents of a 125 gal salt tank for my 75 gal tank. I used the existing water, rock, fish. I used my own sand because of the bad shape the sand from the 125 was in. It came with a prizm pro deluxe skimmer and two power heads. My question is two fold, i don't feel like i am getting adequate filtration because if i turn up the water flow i get large amounts of micro bubbles in the tank and the water after a couple weeks is not as clear as i would like. So the question would be, would a regular hob filter be needed also to increase filtration? If someone had links to what equipment would be useful other than the obvious drill the tank and set a fuge, it would be of great use to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this somewhat lengthy post.

You can take the largest model of AQUACLEAR hang on filter and make a refuge out of it. I dont have the link but i'm sure someone can post it for you.

Also, contact time in the skimmer is very important so you dont want to push water thru the skimmer to fast. For more current, you need to add more powerheads. I would recomend the HYDORs.

A couple of ideas that might help.

Ok, so i understand correctly. The amount of water being "filtered" is not that important, but the amount of water moving in the tank is very important? You have to excuse me i am used to freshwater and i realize that salt is very different.

Here's acouple of links to Aquaclear fuges:
