Sick tang

[I've had him for about 3 weeks and when I got him I didnt notice and problems. As soon as I put him in the tank he started rubbing rocks but he stoped about 3 days later. He eats and acts just normal. He no longer rubbs the rocks. Please help

[What kind of tang is it? I have had couple of tangs and it sounds like it might have some ick or some other skin parasite. I would make sure you gas exchange in your tank is good and then add some garlic to your food it has seemed to help for me.

[You could also add a cleaner shrimp. They cant cure ich on their own, but they are a great preventative and will also help keep it under control.]
