I was at DNA a few days ago & they had put a lot of different frogspawn in their big tank in the back corner room. There were several different colors. So what colors do you have? Here are the 3 that I've got.

We have a Red Frogspawn we brought with us from New Orleans.. it's been a little unhappy the last few days.. but when the MH's kick on Ilater today... 'll snap a picture and post it.

Great looking Froggies, btw. ;)

Here's my Red Froggie under the 10k MH's. Looks like it's not angry at all... its making babies... err more heads. :oops:

I have one that has both pink and green "stems" in it....you can't see the pink ones so much in this, unless you are looking for it; they were "waving" the other way. But, they are there!
 
Before we moved to Texas... TJay and I were at a LFS and they had a coral that very much resembled a Frogspawn... and if my memory serves me correctly, George referred to it as a "Grape."

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?? Is it in the same family as a Froggie?

Mine is a little different it not the branching kind Only one head that just gets bigger. It has almost doubled in size since I got it. It has even attached itself to the LR.

I think I may try to frag a head off my Red Froggy for you today. Will let you know once I see its going to survive. :)

Figured since we are going to be shoulder deep in the tanks again today... may as well get it done.

After Katrina hit and we broke our tank down, we gave it to someone in New Orleans who had lost their 75g tank. The day he picked up the tank, he gave us the Red Froggy. It is definitely one of my favoites!

Just wish it would grow faster! ;)

You're right on the grape! I tried my best, but he wouldn't frag it! lol

From my understanding the one i have pictured is supposed to be an octopus type (i could be very worng though). They only have one head not the branching type. I am not sure how you would frag that. I suppsose you could break it and hope it healed. I sure am not willing to take that risk though.
 
Here is my new Frogspawn from Mike. It opened nearly twice this size today under the MH's... Great addition to our main tank! :)
