Is there any way that my serpent star could have eaten my small clownfish?

I am missing 3 perculas and can't ind them anywhere. They were eating just fine before?

Could be.. what does he look like (size, color, texture) and how does his size compare to the clownfish?

Got a picture of the suspect?

He is a black and white one. not too big, but not too small. My clowns were about 1 inch. I still have my black clown who is housing in my bubble coral and two maroon clowns who have found a home in my bubble tip anemone.

I want to take him out but he does not come out very much. I think I will just turn him in to my LFS.

Pretty easy way to get mine (I have three- one red serpent, one red brittle, one red bubble tipped) to come out is to get a piece of krill and grab it in a pair of tongs and wave it next to him. They'll usually follow it out into the open.

If you're feeling brave, you can just hand feed him, but the sensation of them wrapping around your hand / arm can weird some people out :)

On second thought, I would worry more about the other clowns. That sounds like an awful lot of clowns for anything but the largest tanks. Maroons can be pretty mean, especially if they're becoming a mated pair. Heck, I've had one perc kill the other before.

They could also be hiding, terrified of the other clowns.

They are in a 110G. The maroon never rarely leave their anemone that has hidden himself behind my live rock,

Yeah, that would weird me out.
