found pieces of my serpent starfish all over my tank this morning, and most of him including his body is in the front corner of my tank with a cucumber eating him.
he lost a leg about 2 weeks ago but didn't think anything of it.
mainly tangs in my tank. only shrimps are a cleaner and a coral-banded that may not even be in there anymore.
i have noticed that the starfish has been eating some of my cyano bacteria. could that have been it? and then fish/critters tore him apart overnight?
