Serious Help Making this Decsion

Hi Guy,
Part One
I can really use some help on this and I hope this is the right forum to ask in. I have been looking at different bigger tanks to move into as some of you may know. I was advised on staying away from overflow boxes and to look for a drilled. So I have located this 60G tank that is drilled. They are asking $120.00 for the tank and glass lid. I have attached photos for you to review. So my first question is this what is a fair price on a tank of the size and look and are there any cons to a center drilled tank that I should be aware of. The second is when I go to look at it I am going to check: 1) Have it water filled to see if there are any leaks 2) check to see if there are any cracks and or major scratches 3) I was told to run my nail across the silicon seals to make sure it’s not peeling back 4) while there is water in the tank to lightly push on both sides of the glass at the corners to see if any major flexing. If there is anything else I need to check or do please let me know. If this tank looks good at the right price and it checks out then Part 2 I will need some help with.

Part 2 (Please note I am not selling at this time or wanting to sell any part at all) (Just need to know what fair pricing is on these items on this webpage. No numbers given to me will be considered absolute truth just est. of what you as an individual thins is fare.)

Now in order for me to move into this tank I will not be able to keep my 29G biocube or my 14G Biocube. So I am going to list the items that are included and whatever you think is best to tell me what it’s worth as a whole or parted out and which is the better way. Ready below

29 Gallon BioCube with HQI Lighting
-2 Pumps
-1/4 chiller I believe the smaller one if that is it
-Stand in good condition
-Upgraded Med basket
-Led Mag ref light
-JBJ skimmer

14G BigCube LED lights Rapidled upgrade with dual dimmer
-Stand
-Upgraded pump
-upgraded media basket
-50 Wat heater

I believe that is all I can think of for now. I will let you know if I am missing anything and will get pictures of the 14G when I can. This is something I am going to try and pull the trigger on if I can so please let me know.

PM email post on here whatever you think is best Thanks guys hope it all works out excited about moving up to a bigger tank. Just want to make sure its the right move

Thread moved to Reef Discussion.

$120 for a 60g is a good deal if the glass isn't too badly scratched and the seal is intact.

Tanks Marc sorry about the Post and thanks for moving. With that part being taken care of any other things you guys can think of for me to test the tank. Finding out what I have and what it might bring to see if I can pay for some of the things I will need to get the 60g up and running.

This tank looks exactly like mine. You can check out my build thread in my Sig. 120 is a good deal. Is there a way you can run the 29 or 14 up while you plan out and build the 60? Best advice...don't rush it!

Sounds like a good plan for checking out the tank and like Nightowl said, don't rush it. It would be best if you can keep the other two tanks up and running while you setup the new one. Can't really help on selling prices for selling stuff as I'm just not familiar with biocubes go for. You might want to do a search in the for sale forums and see what similar items have sold for.

Thanks for the help on this tank it was a wash the tank was scratched pretty bad more so than I want to look at even if it was free. I have found a 90G tank that is not drilled but may look into drilling it myself. I got it for a pretty good deal so if it break it breaks
