Sequence Dart question

So I'm getting ready to set up the 265 and am very worried that the drains/returns aren't going to be able to handle the Dart. Is it correct that a megaflow drain can handle 600GPH? If so I still have about twice as much pump as I need (at 5' about 2600-2800 GPH). Can the Dart be turned down? If so do I need to do it on the intake side or outlet side? Would it be better to use a "dump" like chevytrks did here? Is it hard on the pump to restrict it?

Also, I noticed that Kevin had both of the drains plumbed together except for what was going to the fuge. Could this have been part of the problem? I don't think his was a "megaflow" either but I'm still concerned. My drains are 1 1/2" dursos that go down to 1" at the bulkheads. My returns are 1".

This is how Kevin had his drains done.

Any help appreciated!

You can use a ball valve to choke the dart back. Never choke it on the intake side only do it on the output side. Otherwise you will cause cavitation in the pump.

1" bulkheads drain 600gph. With 1.5" Durso you may be able to get it up to 800gph, each. The Sequence Dart will move a lot more water than those drains can handle, so a ball or gate valve after the pump is the best solution.
