Separating zoa colonies

I have a nice colony of a few dozen very small (1/4-inch diameter or so) red/orange zoas that have been on a rock the size of a child's fist for more than a year. Lately they are being overrun by larger, more vigorous zoas that unfortunately are very drab, sort of a tan. A few are intermixed, but they are mostly separate colonies.

I can easily remove this particular rock from the aquarium and have a couple of mostly bare rocks. I guess my ideal solution would be to get them on separate rocks. I've fairly new, never done any fragging. Any suggestions?

I'd take out the rock, use a hammer and flat-head screw driver, and gently split the rock. Use Super Glue Gel to attach the small pieces to the new rocks.

Is there a specific super glue people should use? I had some that was thicker - the last ones I bought were pretty liquid.

Are they all ok?

I always get the loc tite gel from HD or lowes and its always worked perfect. I just let it dry 30 sec to a minute before I put it back under water.
