1) How do we send PMs now?2) I'm posting in here because I am getting the "Nothing found" message in the appropriate help subforum.?3) Is there a way to auto subscribe to all threads I post in rather than having to check the box at the bottom then confirm with an email follow up? ?Every other forum I'm in including the old DFWMAS supports this.

I haven't tried going through a mobile device yet. ?However, on a computer to send a PM you go to the Private Message section on the right hand side of the page click on New Message. ?It's a little different in the fact you can't currently see if the user has read the message. ?Not sure if that can be changed or not. ? It would be nice if you could tell if the user read your message or not.

That is a good question Jim.We went over all the issues existing with the website and forums in all the meetings we had ever since the new BOD started. In a few words the old forum system was dated, unsecured, and no longer supported by phpbb thus unable to be upgraded to the latest version of phpbb; phpbb is not mobile friendly which 80% of our users/members use to browse our forums and phpbb is not social media friendly.I can expand on each subject on our next meeting; I hope you can join us.?

Great question?jccaclimber. We are changing the position of the PM app so that it stands alone tomorrow; you should have a better experience by Friday.Thank you for your feedback!

This helps, it is the first post I have seen telling me why this is a good idea. ?Integration to social media I think (hope) will help, assuming that integration works both ways.Lots of other forums are mobil friendly without these kinks, so hopefully we will be through the changeover pains soon.

I will attempt to replicate that; it may be a permission issue.

Is there not a way to send a PM directly from the forum page? ?When i click on a user name to PM it says I don't have permission and there is no PM button any more under each reply of a topic.?
