Selling fish need advice.

If a buyer sees the picture of the fish and confirms he wants it and work out a deal to catch the fish out of my tank and get it delivered to him in garland and everything was set and done. The buyers brother took pictures of the fish once i arrived and the buyer confirmed for good he wants them and told his brother to pay me and i left. Then later calls back complaining he didn't like the pair on how they look and realized he didn't want those and stated i mislead him on wrong clowns. He confirmed the pair 10 times and i made sure before i bagged up the fish and left the house. He was aware of what fish was coming to him and he even stated he liked the male more then the female but agreed to take them.

As to my understanding that in selling fish that all sales are final after both party is at an agreement and once i left the house and the fish is in the buyers tank. This is due to all the stress the fishes go through with the new tank transfer and being caught multiple times. Is this Correct?

My concern is more with the fishes health and don't want them to be stressed from all the transferring and die once i receive them back and i get stuck with the short end of the stick. He was well aware of the fish he was receiving and his brother took pictures himself of the fish and sent it to him to get a final confirmation and everything.

I'm not here to screw anyone over just don't want things to go wrong on my end for someone else mistake.

Whats the best way in your opinion to deal with this situation. I just need advice on how to deal with this the right way before things get hectic.

Even stores don't offer refunds or returns on livestock. All sales are final in my opinion. It's a risk you take buying from individuals.

I have bought fish from individuals and see them die or bought it and come to find out its dangerous for my tank. It was my decision to make and never contacted the seller. Now if you sold something and you knew it was bad then offer a refund. But according to your story, I don't see you at fault.

I sent multiple different pictures of the actual fishes that he would receive so he could be well aware of the clowns design knowing how everyone is skeptical about what the clowns look like before they buy as I would. He even asked his brother to send him pictures of the fish before he paid me. All the fish are healthy and he was aware of what fish i was bringing. Other wise he could have easily said no and i wouldn't be bothered. I would respectfully refund if i was at fault but regretting a transaction after everything was said and done is something different.

I agree with all above but would also add the fact that he sent someone else to buy them. I don't send my wife to buy a fish at the LFS for me since I might end up with a parakeet floating in my tank when I get home. Deals are finale and god advice to anyone, if you have a chance to see it before you buy it in person.... DO SO!
