Security camera as a webcam?

Does anyone use a security camera as a webcam? I have a DLink small webcam facing my fish QT, but I want a better one that has remote pan / tilt / optical zoom / etc, with higher quality for my main display.

Any thoughts on this, and if there is a good option that is wireless (internet)?
 
I've been considering this one for the same reason. I tried an earlier version that was ok but isn't supported anymore. I think linksys makes one now too
