Scratch in glass - remove without distortion?

I have a starphire front pane glass that came with an area of it that has very thin scratches on the outside of it (cant even feel the scratches with your finger). Given they are so thin, is there something that I can do to buffer them out at least just enough to not be so obvious, but not distorting the glass/view?

try on a small section put some pledge furniture polish see if it fills in the scratches if not you will have to buff them out. what are you using to scratch the outside of the tank?

They are scratches that came with the glass. Will pick up some pledge and try that before jumping to buffing.

Wish I had a solution for the single scratch I put in the front panel of my tank, internally. *sigh*
