Its a black & white worm i guess but the head / mouth is neat. it has a head that comes out that looks like a feather duster then it goes back in. If you look real hard you can see it in the first picture. The mouth or head is right in frount of the crab to the right. It is small but when it bit the plant the whole plant moved so its strong for its size. I hope you can see it ok. I thought it was neat. So i took a pic.

It looks like a peanut worm to me. Reef-safe.
 
I've seen some stretch about 4 to 5", but nothing longer. Most seem to be 3" or less, based on what I've observed in my tanks late at night.
