Salt Mix/ Calcium Carbonate help

I'm transferring my 30g into a 55g this weekend. I'm going to add 20 or so gallons of existing water with the new salt mix water. I went and got 35 gallons of RO water from the LFS, mixed it in with the proper amount of Instant Ocean salt mix, tossed in some power heads and have let it mix all weekend (manually stirring occasionally). I've reached the proper Specific Gravity but there is still excess "mix" at the bottom of the tank that refuses to desolve.

I have searched quite a bit trying to find out why this is and what to do. All I have found is that is calcium carbonate, most likely from some humidity getting to the mix. So my question is....

Can I remove the excess (calcium carbonate) and still use the water since my desired SG has been reached? Maybe dose with calcium to replenish, etc. OR will that cause a problem, possibly harming my fish or corals when I transfer?

Thanks in advance! :)

I think that most would discard the undissolved particles. I normally see a few particles at the bottom of the bucket when making saltwater. I pump the water from the mixing bucket to a jug, leaving the particles behind. If I remember correctly, when I used Instant Ocean, there was quite a lot of leftover particles, whereas there is less now when using Reefcrystals. I have thought that it was dissolving better. Whether it is any kind of problem, I expect that one would have to do testing to establish as fact. I am not that ambitious, nor do I think it significant.

Thanks for the reply David.

Any ideas on how to remove the particles? I mixed the water in the 55g tank to make the process easier and so I could let it all mix for longer. So the excess particles are on the bottom of my aquarium...

(nothing is in the tank except the water, mix, heater and power heads)
