While doing a water change early this morning (before the lights went on and the mushrooms expanded) I found a few hundred false perc eggs on one of the live rocks.
The eyes are turning silver which I think means they are very close to hatching (like maybe tonight). I set up a 5G fry tank using water from the tank they are in.
However, I am in need of rotifers in a rather big hurry.
We always have multiple artemia batches in different stages (for the dwarf seahorses) and will feed them as well, but I'd like to be able to offer the rots too.
Anyone have any they could share?
I will start some as soon as I figure out where we put the package but I'm concerned the clowns will hatch before I have food ready for them.
