My fish really go crazy for this stuff. Has anyone else notices that your skimmer goes nuts too? After I feed, about an hour later, my skimmer is foaming like crazy and pulling a very wet skim from the tank. Just seeing what others observe.
 
Yea it does that first time i used it overflowed on the ground with a very wet skimate. I like a little bit of a wet skimate but not water lol.
 
I use Rod's Food almost daily, but haven't noticed any specific changes with my skimmer.
 
I've used the reef blend since it first came out. I use 30% Rods Reef 50% live phyto and 20% tank water. They go NUTS for this stuff. But I also kill them pumps when I feed them so the food sits right ontop of there mouths if you do it right. Less effect on water levels then. I feed my fish live food... No better way to feed them!
 
Marc is there any reason you went to Rods over your personal blend you detail on your site?

Laziness. :) I still use other stuff like mini-mysis, cyclop-eeze, pellet and flake in auto feeders, and nori. My fish are never hungry.
