RODI pressure question

During the last couple of times I run the RODI unit, I've noticed that the water pressure is low ~40, and cannot figure out why. The water pressure to the RODI is ~80 but once I open the valve to fill the container it instantly drops to 40.

Any suggestions?

Restriction in your incoming line. Static pressure is 80, but the pressure you can support while operating at that flow rate is 40. Check for clogged inlet screens and pinched hoses. Also, where in your system is the pressure gage?

The pressure gauge is after the 3rd canister and prior to the membranes

In that case I would try either taking pressure before the pre-filters (canisters) or replacing them. You've probably clogged one or all of them. You could also try rinsing out the sediment filters, but as depth filters this won't do a ton. They're designed to catch stuff, but that does result in them clogging over time.

The filters were it. Replaced them and now the pressure is steady at 77.

Now I have another question.
The TDS in is 2 and after the DI is 1. I never seen the incoming so low. I did not replaced the DI catridge,

If your tds is 2 coming out of the membrane (which is almost too good to believe btw), then your DI resin should have no trouble whatsoever knocking it down to zero. How old is your resin? How long has it been since you've changed it?

That's what's weird. I never seen them that low. The resin is about 3 months old.

I checked the TDS with a handheld meter and is showing 198. The inline meter must be going crazy.
After the DI shows 2

198 was the reading from the faucet and 2 was the output of the RODI, measured with a handheld TDS meter.
The reading I'm getting before the membrane is 2, but I think the inline TDS meter is faulty. I'm going to give it a good cleaning and maybe replace the batteries and will see if the readings change.

Thanks for your help
