Rock Anemone

My rock anemone has not been looking very well the past week and on Sunday it inverted it stomach. My nitrates are going through the roof at around 40( usually 5 or less with APM test kit) with nitrites at 0. Calcium is at 380( a little low) and I have not measured magnesium. Is it time to remove the rock anemone?

I've left mine alone even when they are unhappy. Either they recover, or they shrink down until the vanish. I've never had to remove one from my tanks over the years.

I found one of my clams was decaying from the bottom. I removed it and did a water change and will be monitoring my nitrates over the next few days to see if that was the cause of the rise.

Nitrates back to 40 this morning! My deep sand bed must have died! Any experience with this anyone? I just put some de-nitrate media in the sump along with some AmQuel. Ammonia is at 0 at least. I will check again in the morning and do a water change.
