Wondering if anybody locally has tried any of the eBay ro/di units which include Reef System, Aquasafe, and Purewaterclub. I searched for reviews on google and people seem to like them. Anybody in the area have any of these? Thoughts about em?
 
I bought a 5-stage RODI setup from these guys in 2010. I have had zero issues in over 18-month of owning it. I was told by some that the filters were cheap and would wear out very quickly, but with my usage, they produced 0 TDS for over a year (verified with TDS meter). I bought a replacement pack of filters from BRS and recently changed them out, just because I felt it had been a long time coming, even though I still had 0 TDS. I can't honestly say anything bad about it. I think I paid around $100.

Whatever the rating is, divide it by 24 hours to get an idea of how many gallons you'll get hourly. And remember during the colder months: when our source water is 50F, the GPD rating is cut in half. A 100gpd system will produce 50gpd at 50F /60 PSI / <200 TDS.
