RO/DI Units

Ok I have been reading and I have been looking around the house on where I can put on of these units. I have a question though. COpper is bad for our reef tanks and a lot of our water runs through copper lines in the house. How or what do we need to do to keep it out of our RO/DI water? Am I missing something or is this amount that we get with the running water through the pipes not enough to worry about?

Water and copper are fine together, they are non-corrosive. However, once the water has been purified, the ion-free water can affect copper and brass fittings. That is why you only use plastic fittings after the RO/DI system.

What comes before the unit is fine, be it plastic or copper.
