Return Pump question

We just had a small storm pass through and our power went out several times for only a few seconds. My return pump stopped working. And with the pump plugged in, my koralia doesn't work. With the pump unplugged, the koralia works again. But sometimes it doesn't. The return will be unplugged and the koralia plugged but will work most of the time. But when the return pump is plugged, the return isn't working and the koralia isn't either. What could this be? Power strip? Something else?

i doubt its any corelation between the two its just the fact that pumps of any sort can have issues starting up. just the fun of it. i have about 4 koralias amongst all my tanks and one in particular has a hard time starting up, as well as my mag pump on my qt tank. happened last night, power went out but immediately came back on and when i went downstairs my qt return pump was not running. try to give them a good cleaning, a soak in some vinegar water event to make sure you get everything off.

I took my quiet one 3000 off for maintenance but...how do you undo it? I can't seem to undo anything off the pump

I was excited because I found a few pods while working on the skimmer. They looked like worms as they stretched out, but I knew they were pods by their color and shape. I picked them up and they curled up like a rolie polie and I just threw them back in the fuge. I didn't think I'd have pods as I don't have much macro, just feather caulerpa and not much of it.
