Resurrecting my tank 5 months after fire

Hi,
DNA is house-sitting my corals and LR while my office is being restored. In March they will deliver and install my new tank (180G) ...gallons not dollars [smilie=wink.gif]
The plan is to deliver the LR that day and then wait before re-introducing the coral ( all softies)
I would appreciate any advice/ insights with this process.

Thanks...unfortunately I lost 50% of my stuff in the 3 days before they got my stuff out. I will be needing to restock my tank, but thought I'd better wait for parameter to be stable.

I have seen your coral at DNA. Beautiful stuff. Wish I could get some of that! said:

Good luck with the new setup!

Glad to hear you are getting back and going again!
All of my new tanks even with live rock transported less than 30 mins experienced some sort of cycle.
Best to wait it out no matter how tempting it may be to rescue your stuff from DNA.

I believe My LR is in 2 large trashcans with powerheads. I'm not sure if there is a need or if they are doing any water changes etc They are replenishing for evaporation for sure. I am wondering if after placing the live rock whether there will be a need for water changes.
