replacing lunar light LEDs?

I bought a used Orbit PC fixture on eBay and when I plugged it in last night, one of the lunar light LEDs is flickering.

Anyhow, I'm thinking this would be something simple to replace myself. Am I wrong?

Can I get the replacement LEDs at the hardware store? Any tips on what I should look for in a replacement?

Thanks.

The LED's don't go bad by flickering. that usually indicates a broken wire or bad solder connection. I'd just replace the wiring to the LED and resolder everything LED related. that should corect your problems.

Yeah, I'd wondered about that, since the fixture, when I got it, had some salt crust on it. Wonder if some salt made its way into the LED housing and corroded it.

I have that same Orbit fixture. Those leds either work or they don't, probably just salt corrosion as you say. It should have a slide out plexiglass lens to cover the bulbs. It's good to slide this thing out and wash it with fresh water often, especially if you are using eggcrate for a lid. If the fixture didn't come with this plastic lens you need to get one or you will always be fighting salt creep. You can get a piece cut at Home Depot pretty cheap.
