Refugium Lights?

It depends. If you are using Chaetomorpha (aka spaghetti algae) in your fuge then running a reverse daylight schedule will be fine (fuge light on when tank lights off). If you are using Caulerpa sp. for your algae, and there are several different kinds of Caulerpa, you want to light your fuge 24/7 to prevent the algae from going asexual. Some Caulerpa is worse about this than others, but to be on the safe side I always recommend usind a 24/7 lighting if you are using something other than Chaeto.

Thank you very much for the input.... so would it be really bad to run the lights for Cheato 24/7 (cheato is all I have in there thus far)

24/7 is usually fine for chaeto too, its just that you don't have to if you don't want to. Some people think that the chaeto grows faster if it has a natural day/night cycle but I've yet to see it for myself.
