Refractometer help

I have a question about my refractometer. When I look through the eyepiece and I'm supposed to read where the blue and white sections meet, the problem is that there are three lines of blue. Under the big blue section there are two thin blue lines. Do I just read where the big section of blue is or where the first thin blue line is?
This is a new Marine Depot.com refractometer and it's been calibrated.

Thanks.

You want to look at a bright light - point the refractometer directly at the light source. You should see a blue area and a white area, as well as the scale. Where the blue and white touch, that's the measurement.

I also take a reading twice, never believing the first one. These tools do need about 20 seconds to adjust for water temperature (ATC: auto temperature correcting) and the second test is usually the correct one.
