ok here's a few questions on salt mix.

I was using IO and was doing great, ran out and got a bucket of Kent (yellow label) herd there was problems with low dKh but not really affected any of my inhabitants.

Going to get a bucket of Reef Crystals through the GB and was wondering if anyone has had any problems,concerns, or emotions about them.

I know there are people that uses other brand of salts and would like to keep this fourm strictly for the Reef Crystals. (just dont want it to get outta hand :) )

I've been using IO since day one (7+ years now) with no problems, and Reef Crystals is basically just IO with some extras added to it (At least, that's my understanding of it) so I wouldn't hesitate to use Reef Crystals... I just stick with IO since it's cheaper and works for me...
 
well... i wouldn't say they wouldn't have been affected. In talking with some guys from transquilscape, they told me about the problems with Kent. I treated right away about about two weeks from switching to kent.

I was just hoping with Reef Crystal's, maybe I wouldn't have to dose Ca and other additives as much. And also at 41.00 I might save a little on the other end :?
